Working with veterinarians is unique because unlike many other occupations, the main driving force behind what they do is not money motivated. They do it for the love of animals and their owners, and we understand and respect them for it.

Since 2001, we have enjoyed working with veterinarians around the nation to guide them in the ways of asset accumulation and distribution, income and asset protection and estate and business planning. We have been an authorized representative with the AVMA-GHLIT since 2004 when we became the student representative at the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2010 we started working with the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine, and we currently meet with nearly every graduating student and half of all the enrolled students in both schools each year.

In 2011, Wes Hentges was honored to receive the Representative of the Year Award for outstanding service to veterinarians from the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and currently over 1,000 veterinarians choose to work with ProPartners Wealth for their business succession, retirement planning, estate planning and risk management protection.

About the AVMA GHLIT

Since 1957, the American Veterinary Medical Association Group Health and Life Insurance Trust (AVMA GHLIT) has made coverage you can trust- tailor made for veterinarians, by veterinarians. Nine AVMA member Trustees, and one AVMA Liaison Trustee, supervise the AVMA GHLIT and its professional operating staff. They give the plan direction to be sure the benefits are the ones you and your family most desire.

The program is also designed to help save you money. You’ll benefit from the group purchasing power of thousands of veterinarians across the country. Coverage available includes disability*, hospital indemnity*, level term life*, professional overhead expense (POE)*, family group life*, student plans, dental, vision, and more.

Wes Hentges, owner and lead financial advisor at ProPartners Wealth, and Virginia Johnson, the ProPartners Wealth staff specialist for the veterinary profession, are both AVMA-GHLIT representatives. They are here to help you and to discover the coverage that's best suited for the needs of you and your family. Contact us today to answer any questions or to schedule an appointment.

They say, "a person who self-medicates has a fool for a doctor."
The same might be applied to other professional specializations,
especially related to financial matters and tax implications.
